Cambs Mobile Library

If you are a member of Cambridgeshire Libraries, you can use your library card when visiting the mobile library. You can apply to join Cambridgeshire Libraries with staff members if you do not already have a library card.

Each mobile library carries up to 3,000 items of stock. This includes fiction and non-fiction titles, some of which may be available in large print. There are also audiobooks, children’s books and some jigsaw puzzles. It’s also possible to request books in other formats, such as adult spoken word cassettes and CDs, to collect on your next visit.

If you are seeking a particular title, then you can make a request to the mobile library team who have access to all the books in the Cambridgeshire Libraries Catalogue.

The mobile library also offers free replacement NHS hearing aid batteries and you do not need to be a library member to use this service. If you have a walking stick, you can also pick up a free replacement ferrule. Reading glasses are also available for sale from the mobile library.
